Debating What to Read Next?

There are a lot of sites out there that recommend books.  They are a great starting point, but they do not always list by the first book in the series. Also, some of the suggested books are of higher maturity levels, so you'll still want to do a bit of research on your own before choosing a book from one of these sites.  Here are a few I've found that are pretty good:

Welcome!

Be sure to visit this blog regularly to see what we are working on in Writing Workshop.  As you may know, we are continuing the Lucy Calkins workshop program that students experienced last year. Our first assignment will be to write a narrative--a completely made-up story.  I think students will have a lot of fun with this!  Visit the Helpful Information page to get ideas and inspiration, as well as to read some other great narratives.
